Drench Those Shirts

This idea may be a little nutty, but Liz and Dan’s wedding was in the height of the summer, when temperatures in Wisconsin can easily get into the nineties. The boys were wearing navy jackets with white shirts. So, you will think this is really crazy, but I wanted those boys to look crisp and clean when their jackets came off—as we all know jackets do. I went looking for white shirts, bought a few brands, and literally took a garden hose to them. Most wilted or looked “see-through,” but I found a great Nordstrom brand that held up to the drenching. Those cute boys looked terrific even sopping wet in the heat. Of course, I had an extra shirt for the groom.
