Activities that Add to the Fun Pt. 2

What makes your event more special than others? I think it is the creativity that you plan into your party. I try to plan a couple of surprises for my guests. What can they be?

• Pass miniatures of three different frozen drinks—lively colors and slushy good!
• Have a scavenger hunt in the neighborhood or rent a limo stocked with champagne for each team and make it a city-wide photo shoot.
• Ask servers to cook bananas Foster at tableside for big events.
• Organize a surprise progressive dinner: invite guests and have them walk to a neighbor’s house for dessert.
• Make your own ice cream sundae bar.
• Conduct an “official” wine tasting with an expert to help out.
• Have everyone bring a toy and wrap the toys for a charity.
• Have guests bring a favorite book to exchange.
• Put three mini desserts on a plate, each one more enticing than the other.
• Do a cookie exchange.
• Have a gourmet potluck dinner.
• Invite guests to bring a friend to share in the fun
• Dress casual and have a trolley show up to take everyone to the beach or park or other fun location.

Be wacky, whimsical, wild. People love to have fun!
