A Party in Pink
August 21, 2018
Pink is hot! Use it for a sweet-sixteen birthday, a baby shower, a sixty-fifth birthday, or just about any celebration.
Consider using some or all of these:
- pink candies (M&Ms, pink-wrapped Hershey’s Kisses, pink candy necklaces)
- pink flowers & pink linens
- pink favors (pink bead necklaces, pink enamel frames, sun hats in pink, pink baby bottles, pink purses, pink wallets, pink pashminas or scarves, pink stationery or pencils, pink travel bags with embroidered initials, pink nail polish, any pretty outer box in pink with anything inside)
For food:
- pink cupcakes
- pink macaroons
- pink ice cream or sorbet
- pink lemonade
- frozen strawberry daiquiris
- huge pink candy ribbon suckers
- pink sugar cookies
- pink gumballs Add some white teddy bears dressed in pink T-shirts.
We could go on for pages. This idea can work for just about any color—a friend’s favorite blue, a bride’s wedding colors, a guy’s golf-theme party (think green!). The consistent use of a single color is delightful.
